Carotid Artery Stenosis

Characterized by the narrowing or occlusion of the carotid arteries due to atherosclerosis. This increases the risk of stroke.

Symptoms
Often asymptomatic until complications arise, such as:

Management
• Conservative: Lifestyle changes and medication.
